1. I absolutely love to box.

2. Though my last name is Dutch, I'm 100 percent Italian.

3. The British Invasion is the reason I play music.

4. I'm the oldest of three.

5. I moved to New Jersey at age 7.

6. My wife, Maureen, and I were married by Little Richard.

7. Bruce Springsteen was my best man.

8. And Percy Sledge sang "When a Man Loves a Woman" for us as we walked down the aisle.

9. I still like to watch Kojak.

10. As a kid, I looked up to Abbot and Castello.

12. My first car was a used 1963 Austin-Healey ragtop.

13. I remember Annette Funicello as my first real screen crush.

14. When I was 13, my favorite Beatle was George Harrison. Now Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are my friends.

15. My show Lilyhammer was the first original series on Netflix.

16. The gangster classic Angels With Dirty Faces is my top film.

17. The Roaring Twenties is a very close second.

18. Both of them star my favorite actor, James Cagney.

19. I created the first two original music channels on SiriusXM.

20. My weekly radio show, Little Steven's Underground Garage, is heard all over the country.

21. I've been married to Maureen for more than 30 years.

22. Her pancakes are the best.

23. Our Cavalier King Charles spaniel, Edie, is so cute.

24. She was a gift from American Idol's David Cook.

25. I got thrown out of high school for having long hair. I went back and graduated to make my mother happy.

Little Steven & The Disciples of Soul opened at 13 U2 concerts in June 2018.

Massachusetts born musician/actor Steven Van Zandt formed this band in 1984, when he took a break from Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band. He released two albums, "Men Without Women" in 1982 and "Voice of America" in 1984. While the albums were critically praised, they didn't do well commercially. Van Zandt is also a successful music producer as well as musician and counts the Dave Clark Five as a musical influence.
